BACKYARD BABIES Sign U.S. Deal With LIQUOR AND POKER MUSIC

January 20, 2005

Sweden's BACKYARD BABIES have inked a North American deal with Liquor and Poker Music. The group's first release for the label will be "Tinnitus", a compilation of four tracks from each of the group's albums, to be released on April 5 in a deluxe digipak with a embossed cover and a Liquor and Poker music sampler with 16 songs — one track from each band on the roster.

BACKYARD BABIES will embark on a U.S. tour supporting SOCIAL DISTORTION beginning on February 3 in Las Vegas. Also appearing on the bill will be the STREET DOGS.

BACKYARD BABIES' latest full-length album, "Stockholm Syndrome", was issued in Scandinavia in November 2003 through RCA/BMG Records. A wider European release followed in March. A U.S. release date for the CD has yet to be announced. The follow-up to 2001's "Making Enemies Is Good" was recorded at Stockholm's Polar studios and was mixed in Los Angeles with producer Joe Barresi (LIMP BIZKIT, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, MONSTER MAGNET, KYUSS).
